Academic Heights School, Pitampura, is envisioned as an inclusive K–12 environment organised around a dramatic internal atrium—the unmistakable heart of the campus. This soaring volume becomes the school’s primary orienting element, pulling daylight deep into all levels and creating a shared centre where assemblies, informal learning, and everyday interaction naturally converge.

Inside, the material palette softens the scale of the building, pairing warm wood finishes with calibrated pops of colour to create a lively, inviting atmosphere. Classrooms and breakout spaces open toward the atrium, giving students a continuous visual connection to the school’s core while maintaining acoustic comfort and functional clarity.

A playful under-stair nook introduces a child-centric moment within the larger volume, offering space for reading, small-group interactions, or quiet retreat. Accessibility remains integral throughout, with unobstructed circulation routes, intuitive wayfinding, and barrier-free movement across the campus.

Around the built form, landscaped setbacks extend the life of the school outdoors, featuring trees, shaded seating, and safe play pockets that complement the interior environment. The design shapes a learning ecosystem where architecture, landscape, and materiality come together to support engagement, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community.
